Keep Your Stamped Concrete Clean in the Fall

Leaf Stain on concrete

Keep your pathways clean this fall.

Stamped concrete can provide a beautiful and unique driveway, walkway or patio, and when properly maintained, it can last for a very long time. Taking care of your stamped concrete is important, but changing season can require additional attention.

The most important tip to keep your new hardscape in pristine condition is to keep it clean and free of debris. As the months press on, the trees will begin to shed their leaves and your new driveway or patio can easily become covered in a sea of orange, red and brown.

Sweep the fallen leaves regularly or use a leaf blower to keep your pathways clear. If left alone, the leaves could stain your stamped concrete and tarnish its beauty. Should your concrete become stained and scrub brush with water doesn’t clean the area, power washing or special chemicals may be needed.

Bob, you are so right about keeping your concrete clean to minimize any staining or tarnishing of your concrete. Most people do not realize they should keep their concrete clean and sealed. In our business http://www.curbease.com/Home/335/0 we recommend our customers reseal their concrete every couple of years.
